Albert Finney
Described by Sir Laurence Olivier as “the greatest actor of his generation”, Albert Finney had a career spanning 50+ years in film, television and theatre. Albert was a 5-time Oscar nominee and won Baftas, an Emmy and Golden Globes for his on-screen performances. He was nominated for two Tony Awards for his work on Broadway and won the Laurence Olivier Award for his work on the London West End stage.
Sadly Albert passed away in 2019 but he left us with incredibly memorable performances and projects that we can continue to enjoy watching today. From Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, Tom Jones, Murder on the Orient Express, Annie and The Dresser, through to Erin Brockovich, The Gathering Storm, Big Fish, My Uncle Silas and, his final film, Skyfall.
